POSITION
Outpatient Occupational Therapist, pediatric coverage, between 8am-5:30pm, Monday-Friday

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for planning and administering occupational therapy treatment programs for patients to restore function, relieve pain, and prevent disability.
• Deliver quality patient care from admission through discharge including patient and family education/training as well as outcomes assessment.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation including monitoring visit utilization and insurance authorization.
• Responsible for designing and constructing special equipment, orthotics or casts for patients, and suggesting adaptations of patient's living-workenvironment.
• Work will be performed in an ethical and legal manner following organizational policies, processes, protocols and procedures.
• Responsible for quality service delivery and internal/external customer relations for Madonna as a whole, including upholding the mission and values for the department and facility.

  EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
• Bachelors, Masters Degree, Doctorate in occupational therapy, or be eligible for certification.
• Must possess current Nebraska licensure or temporary Nebraska license pending successful completion of licensing examination.
• Must possess current Nebraska licensure for physical agent modalities (to include superficial thermal agents, deep thermal agents and electrotherapeutic agents) or obtain within 6 months from date of hire.
• CPR for Health Care Provider/CPR for Professional Rescuer required at time of hire or within 30 days from date of hire.
• May be required to drive a motor vehicle.
• If required to drive, must have current valid driverâ??s license, must submit a copy of current driverâ??s abstract reflecting a good driving record, and have the required mobility needed to drive.
